Bush, is the modern equivalent of Bull Conner to this generation of African-Americans. The Democratic National Committee backed him up. There wasn't one word of outrage anywhere in the mainstream press, the liberal media, or any other liberal organization. They were clapping their hands and they were going, "Right on, right on, right on. More of it." So Rangel gave them more of it. And they just ate it all up. We have had George Bush compared to Adolf Hitler."Teacher Torihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01768392574776846394noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11500145.post-1128313123156739322005-10-02T23:18:00.000-05:002005-10-02T23:18:00.000-05:00well it was wrong but i still dont think he should...well it was wrong but i still dont think he should be castrated for it. libs have said MUCH WORSE things and I could probably rattle off a hundred.Teacher Torihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01768392574776846394noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11500145.post-1128306675244648062005-10-02T21:31:00.000-05:002005-10-02T21:31:00.000-05:00so what do you all think: does poverty cause crime...so what do you all think: does poverty cause crime? Or does crime cause poverty? I think there are arguments which can be used to support either conclusion...

Poverty and crime have unfortunately turned into pure-race issues...God forbid you respect law and order...you end up being called a racist half the time, well, 98% of the time.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02722750268752897790noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11500145.post-1128305550455264482005-10-02T21:12:00.000-05:002005-10-02T21:12:00.000-05:00watchful one.......I believe there are stats that ...watchful one.......I believe there are stats that do show more blacks are convicted and in jail. However, one could say that we are racist against blacks and thats why they are more frequently prosecuted.

I will be back with US census stats...I'm curious as well.

And I do agree with you that he shouldn't have singled out the blacks. I guess they were trying to draw conclusions that "unwanted babies" more likely come from bad home situations, thus they have more of a chance of committing crimes.Teacher Torihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01768392574776846394noreply@blogger.com
