Good luck with that...

I remeber one thing from the sex ed portion of freshman health (way back in '82 or so). We had a box to put question in and the teacher said she would pull them out, read them, and answer them. That way, they could be done anonymounsly.

Of course, when they day for answering came, someone had put in the standard "would you like to give me head in the parking lot" question (or something similar, though probably more vulgar). And, of course, she has probably seen that one every year. She just took it out, read it, and without missing a beat, just said "Nope", and moved on to the next one...

Don't remember much else from the class, but I do remember that... :)

I get questions like that all the time when I do that same activity. I've gotten:

"What is your cup size?"

"are you sexually active?"

"how old were you when you lost your virginity?"

"do you like giving oral sex?"

"have you had anal sex?"

I warn the kids ahead of time that I won't answer questions I wouldn't ask them. So when I pull out one of the inappropriate questions, I don't even dignify it with a response b/c its some idiot trying to make the class laugh.

What a terrible assignment .

It beats reading petitions all day.

I give you credit. Definatley the kids are more bold today than years ago,so you must get more explicit questions or statements.

i do stress abstinence above all else but I already KNOW some of my students are having sex and even a couple are knocked up and a couple guys have knocked up their girlfriends.

Being a good republican, I always respect the wishes of a concerned parent. Mostly, they're just relieved they don't have to give their kids "the talk".....but I tell them they should still talk to their kids about it.

I tell them a good way is this week to ask them "so, what did you talk about in your health class?" And then see if you can work your way from there.

It also helps that I'm 26yr old chick and not some 50 year old gym teacher football coach like the one I had.....great guy but I didn't feel comfortable asking questions.
