I always remember the day Pearl Harbor was attacked because the day after it is the anniversary of John Lennon's death, and also the day we entered the second world war. Also, December 8th is the day Mary Queen of Scots was born.

One only needs to visit the memorial, to come back with a deeper understanding and apprecation for what that generation did for us. There courage has always been an inspiration to me.

I never forgot that date. If I were home some NYC survivors gather on the Staten Island Ferry each year around noon and the boat stops and the veterans toss a wreath into the harbor. Sadly I am in VT where it is snowing and is 14 degrees.

Careful about visiting my blog as it is targeted by trols.
