I need some work!

I went shooting a few weeks ago and here are a couple of my targets. The first one was done with an SP-89.....my god I love that gun. The second was my little 32 cal Beretta Tomcat. I didn't get a bullsye but at least I killed the guy! Looks like I'm shooting a bit right so if I compensate for that I should be good to go. Suprising considering I'm a lefty!

I haven't gone shooting in years as NYC is not gun friendly. I am in VT but I cross the border and return to NYC often. Even legal carriers get hassled.

Like I said on your first post on this, "Great shootin' Tex!" A frrend says you should try holding your breath before pulling the trigger. The heart stops for a second making your hand more steady, and more importantly, you have a moment to pray to the bulls-eye god for divine intervention!

There is something to pappy's comment. There's no need for precision with that...

South paws rock! Right on Lefty! (Pun intended.)

Hey - You said great shooting Tex to me! Not her! I did hit the bullseye!

TT needs some work, but she's pretty good :) It would be a criminal's worst nightmare to try and break into TT's house, especially when I move in with her in May! We may be fighting over who gets to shoot the son of a bitch!

Hey T Tori, quit complaining, you put me to shame. I have to put snake shot in the .357 to hit much of anything....but then it'll blow a three inch hole at about 6 feet and has instant stopping power. NG

An SP89? Tori, you're something else.

Where did you go shooting, GAT Guns in Dundee? I used to shot there all the time when I lived in West Dundee.

The SP89 kicks ass - we did go to GAT. Full Auto - have you been to "THE PIT" in Ottawa? That place is fun...I guess we'll have to wait until the spring for it to open up though :(

I used to own a MP5K (the full-auto version of the SP89) but sold it a couple years ago. I rarely shot it. I spend much more time shooting my MP5 (full-size) since it's much more controllable on full-auto. Here's a pic:

The MP5 is on the bottom.

I do know about the "pit", it's also called Buffalo Rock. I sued to go out there all the time with the guys from GAT Guns. They do a shoot every year out there, or they used to anyway.

Over here in Indiana I've build my own "pit". I have 60 acres that is used for nothing but shooting. :) My buddies and I buy cars out of the news paper for $500 and drive them out there to be blown into tiny parts. :) You guys should come out this way one weekend to do some shooting, my property is open year around!

OMG - that would be so much fun! Maybe once I'm back up north :) I'm looking to get another pistol, I'm not sure which kind I want though. I like the look and feel of the 9mm Baby Eagle, but I've heard some bad reviews from friends on how it handles. Any suggestions?

I'm a big fan of HK pistols. You might want to check out the USP Compact in 9mm. If that's too bulky, Khar makes a great small frame 9mm auto. I also love Sig Sauer pistols, I have several. The P229 might be a good fit for you.

Tori, don't tease me. I love showing my gun off. :)
