I love Cheney

I was invited to a luncheon supporting a wonderful local candidate and Vice President Dick Cheney was the guest speaker.

Look how close I was! Cheney spoke a lot about the terrorist's plot to take out Chicago's Sears Tower. He said it's proof that we need to continue our fight against terrorists abroad.

I'll tell you what, I've seen President Bush and now VP Cheney talk and I am WAY more terrified of Cheney. He's got that crazy look in his eye and I think he'd make an amazing President!

The Cub's fans were well behaved. A friend of mine told me they were loud and obnoxious

How many Cubs fans bother to show up to support their team, and how obnoxiously they do so, is really something that is in direct proportion to how well their team is doing.

Go some year when their team doesn't suck, and there will be a lot more of them, and they will be loud, belligerent, and obnoxious...

BTW - whatever disease the Cubs have that keeps them from actually hitting the ball seems to have been passed on to the Brewers during this series...

i'll tell you what, this is the first summer that I haven't been to Wrigley. I just can't see calling a scalper (b/c the entire season is basically sold out) and then driving 50 miles to see them lose. I am a live long Cubs fan but I have a mortgage to pay and won't waste my $$$ to go watch sub-par baseball.

Which makes me think.....am I going to drive up 3 hours to Lambeau field to see my Packers play this season if they suck again????
